What it is

When we prepare a proposal or a website for a business, our system reads the website that business already has, to take its public details instead of asking for them again. It identifies itself as: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; PartitaPreviewBot/1.0; +https://partitastudio.com/bot)

What it reads

One page only: the address we were given. It does not follow links or crawl the rest of the site, and it never goes into anything behind a login. From that page it takes what anyone can see: the name, description, icon, some images, phone, WhatsApp, email, Instagram and Facebook links, and the address if the page carries it in its structured data.

How often

Once for each proposal or website we prepare for that business: one visit to that page, of up to 7 seconds and 2 MB.

How to block it

In your website’s robots.txt:

User-agent: PartitaPreviewBot
Disallow: /

Today the bot does not yet check robots.txt before reading the page. Until it does, if you do not want it to read your website, write to hello@partitastudio.com and we will not use it.
